Chosen, Blessed, Broken, and Shared
The Jakarta Eucharistic Revival (JER) is a movement of faith within the Archdiocese of Jakarta that seeks to rekindle the love of God’s people for the Eucharist — the source and summit of our Christian life.
It invites every believer to encounter the living Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament and to live the Eucharist daily through prayer, compassion, and service.
Born in continuity with the 2012 Year of the Eucharist and leading toward the Archdiocesan Eucharistic Year 2027, JER 2026 is a moment of spiritual awakening and preparation — a time to rediscover that the Eucharist is not only celebrated but also lived.
Its theme, “Chosen, Blessed, Broken, and Shared,” reflects the mystery of the Eucharist as a pattern of discipleship: we are taken by God’s love, blessed in communion with Christ, broken in compassion, and shared for the life of the world.
Through liturgy, music, catechesis, and acts of charity, JER invites every person to be transformed by the Eucharist — to become Christ’s presence for others.
